Protocol implementation · not a hosted service

Your server.
Your configuration.

SmokeTunnel is a client implementation of the Smoke Tunnel protocol for iOS, macOS, Windows, Linux and Android. Add the connection details for a compatible server you deploy, control or are authorized to use—then connect directly from the client.

How SmokeTunnel works

Client implementation of the protocol—nothing more, nothing hidden.

SmokeTunnel does not act as a service provider. The client lets you configure and use the Smoke Tunnel protocol against a compatible server you deploy, manage or are authorized to access.

01

No service layer

No hosted SmokeTunnel network, no bundled endpoint catalog and no automatic provider onboarding. The app is the protocol client only.

02

Your server, your policy

You select the compatible server and provide the connection configuration. Access control, uptime and logging are determined by the server operator.

03

Local configuration and diagnostics

Settings and temporary connection diagnostics stay on the device. The client does not send telemetry or connection logs to SmokeTunnel systems.

SmokeTunnel is a protocol client, not a connectivity business.

The software implements the protocol and connects to the selected server. Any server-side logging or policy belongs to that independent operator.

Protocol clients across platforms

One protocol. Native clients for your devices.

SmokeTunnel clients are available for iOS, macOS, Windows, Linux and Android. The current website preview includes the updated Apple-platform creative direction.

Protocol control

Configure the endpoint. Keep the transport in your hands.

The client exposes the connection controls needed for a compatible Smoke Tunnel deployment without pretending to be a hosted service or access provider.

01

User-supplied configuration

Add or import the connection details for the server you choose. No provider directory and no remote account dependency.

02

Protocol parameters

Set host, TCP transport, TLS Server Name (SNI), DNS, tunnel options and related connection values.

03

Readable local diagnostics

Review temporary on-device session events for troubleshooting. SmokeTunnel does not receive remote analytics or connection logs.

macOS App Store preview

The updated SmokeTunnel creative direction for Mac.

The Mac preview uses the transparent tunnel-and-rail mark and the brighter neon gradient system across connection, configuration, connected state and local diagnostics.

SmokeTunnel connected status screen

iOS App Store preview

The same identity, tuned for iPhone and iPad.

The iOS submission package uses the transparent mark with a cleaner neon palette that matches the current creative direction.

Client support

Help with the implementation—not a hosted network.

SmokeTunnel support can help with the client and protocol configuration. The deployment, availability and policy of an independently operated server remain the responsibility of that server’s operator.

SmokeTunnel client support

Include the platform, operating-system version, client version and a description of the issue. Do not send passwords, private keys or production credentials.

Before contacting support

Confirm that the configured server supports the Smoke Tunnel protocol, verify the hostname and port, and check with the server operator that your access is authorized.

Independent servers

SmokeTunnel does not operate a public endpoint network. Questions about server uptime, access permissions, retained logs or acceptable-use rules must be directed to the operator of the server you configured.

SmokeTunnel Privacy Policy

This notice applies to the SmokeTunnel protocol clients for iOS, macOS, Windows, Linux and Android and to this informational website.

SmokeTunnel is not a connectivity service. The client requires no SmokeTunnel account or subscription, does not call a SmokeTunnel service API, and does not connect through a server network operated by SmokeTunnel.

Data collected by the developer

None. The SmokeTunnel client does not send the developer personal information, configuration values, traffic content, browsing activity, IP addresses, device identifiers, analytics, advertising identifiers, crash telemetry or connection logs. There is no tracking, advertising SDK or developer-operated account system.

Configuration and diagnostics on your device

Connection settings you add are handled on your device for the purpose of configuring the protocol client. Any configuration retained by the operating system or client remains under your control and is not uploaded to SmokeTunnel. Temporary session diagnostics may be displayed locally for troubleshooting; they are not transmitted to or stored on SmokeTunnel systems.

Connections to independently operated servers

When you connect, the client communicates directly with the compatible server identified in your configuration. SmokeTunnel does not provide, route, proxy or inspect that server connection. The independent server operator may process network addresses, credentials, traffic or logs according to its own configuration and privacy policy. Review the operator’s terms before connecting.

This website

The public SmokeTunnel information page is intended to operate without accounts, advertising profiles or behavioral tracking. Standard web-hosting security logs may be generated by the hosting provider. If you voluntarily email support, the message and contact details you provide are used only to respond to your request.

Children

The app is a technical network utility and is not directed to children. The client does not create user profiles or collect age information.
